An Awe-inspiring Story of a Corn Farmer

Here’s a Truly amazing story that should be read by everyone. This is what humans should live like.

Don’t want to spoil the story by giving out too much now, I will put my comments at the end of the story.

There was a village which was full of corn farmers. They used to have a state exhibition for all the corns grown in that area.

One of the farmers’ grew award-winning corn and whenever he entered in the state exhibition and he used to win the first prize.

Looking at this a reported from a popular newspaper visited him. The reporter discovered that the farmer shared his seed corn with his neighbors.

The reporter was surprised to hear this and he asked the award winning farmer, “How can you afford to share your best seed corn with your neighbors when they are entering their corn in competition each year?”

The farmer replied, “Didn’t you know? The wind picks up pollen from the ripening corn and swirls it from field to field. If my neighbors grow inferior corn, cross-pollination will steadily degrade the quality of my corn. If I am to grow good corn, I must help my neighbors grow good corn.”

The farmer continued, “So is with our lives. Those who want to live meaningfully and well must help enrich the lives of others and those who want to be happy must help others find happiness.

Moral of the Story: Welfare of each is with the welfare of all.

Corn Farmer Inspiring Story

Call it power of collectivity.

Call it a principle of success.

Call it a law of life.

The fact is, none of us truly wins, until we all win!!

Let’s grow together.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if all humans lived like this, in spite of fighting with each other on petty issues?

If we all work like a team we can make the world a better place and we all can grow together and live an enriched life.
