Today’s story is a perfect example of how to harness the unlimited power that you get from the Universe.
If your belief is strong enough you can make anything work to your advantage. Even a thing like selling your house can prove to be extremely positive if you are in your right frame of mind.
So here goes the story by Casey.
I have a 45-minute commute to work every day so I like to listen to audio tapes. About 10 days ago, I went to the library and picked up a copy of The Secret. I did not know what the book was about. I actually thought it was about something else. I put the CD in to listen but each of the 4 CDs were unreadable and only played a few lines. The lines that I had heard had me hooked and I had to hear more. So I went to another library and easily found a new copy. I listened to it and started to focus my attention on selling our home.
We have had our house on the market for almost a year and had not gotten the offer we wanted. Time was running out and our new house was going to be ready to move in to in October. Our mortgage broker said our debt ratio would be too high without selling the house. So I changed my thinking to the house is sold and I only have one home, which is our new home.
The next day my two-year-old daughter said that she was tired and needed to nap at 10:30 am, which was very unusual for her as a two-year-old. Just as I left her room we reviewed a message we got that someone wanted to see the house that day at 2 pm. So with my daughter sleeping, my husband and I were able to clean the home and have it ready for the showing. I cleaned and prepared the house thinking this is the last showing we will have.
The day after, I was finishing listening to The Secret and within a few hours our realtor called and said they wanted to make an offer. The offer came in for much more than we expected. Next week we are going on a planned trip that we will enjoy much more knowing that our house is sold. Thank you for the Secret! I am amazed at how quickly it worked. We are so grateful!!!
