In today’s time, more people are trying to lose weight then ever. The perfect body that media projects makes a huge impact on a person’s self-confidence. The stress not only hampers health but also makes you gain more weight due to the change of focus to negativity.
It is always better to stay away from such false hype created by media and accept yourself the way you are and your focus should be to create a healthy body which is disease free.
Sometimes to get a healthy body, you might need to lose a few extra pounds, which is reasonable.
Today’s story shows how Ruby used the law of attraction to lose 5 kgs of her body weight. Here’s how it goes;
Firstly, my gratitude to Rhonda Byrne and the entire team of The Secret for changing our lives.
My story goes like this: I was slim and beautiful till the 1st year of my college. I used to get so many compliments about how beautiful I was. But then, negative thoughts entered into my mind and eventually I started gaining weight. I tried a lot but could not get rid of the extra weight. There was a point in my life when I weighed 75 kg and all those things lowered my self esteem. I felt that I was not beautiful and I was not worthy enough.
After that, “The Secret” came into my life and I understood that only my thoughts were responsible for this. I realized that my main problem was that I could not accept myself the way I am. So then I decided that no matter what happens, I will love myself just the way I am.
Every day in the morning, I visualized myself at my perfect weight. I ate only when I felt hungry and I started doing things that made me happy.
After some time, I forgot about it as I was very happy with my myself and my body. I was not at all bothered anymore about needing to change my weight.
Then one day I weighed myself and to my surprise I was 70 kg. That was without any exercise or diet, I had lost 5 kg! And then I realized that I had lost it just in 2 weeks! That was something that I had not been able to do for the last 5 years!
To all the people who are trying to change their weight, I would suggest that you accept yourself the way you are and love yourself. When you truly love yourself you will not be bothered about the weight you are, and only then will you get your desired weight.
