I promised myself that if my wish was granted I would write this story to The Secret website. My brother’s wife, Bhabhi (sister-in-law), was expecting a baby and we were all super excited as this was first child of our family. In the 7th month, suddenly my brother’s wife’s health deteriorated. We took her to the doctor and the doctor said we have to deliver the baby right now and she told us there may be very little chance of survival. The situation become such that the doctor even asked us whom should we save first if it came to that. On hearing this, we all broke down, but after some time I thought “I know The Secret, this won’t happen with us”.
So I asked God for perfect the health of mother and baby. I visualized holding the baby in my mind and then I started repeating “Thank you so much for the perfect health of mother and baby”. I kept repeating this till the time of delivery as I did not want any negativity. Then after some time, the doctor informed us that my Bhabhi has delivered a baby girl and both mother and daughter were safe now, but as the baby was premature, the baby was immediately taken to the pediatrician’s hospital and was kept in the NICU. At that time the pediatrician told us that, it still could not be known for sure whether the baby will survive or not but we all decided that no matter what, we would not think negative.
It was very important to keep positive atmosphere at home which was quite hard as it was extremely difficult for everyone in my family to watch such a little baby with all that medical equipment being used on her. Luckily my brother and Bhabhi knew about The Secret. We all decided to be really positive and we asked everyone else to be very positive. Instead of discussing her medical condition, we used to argue over things such as who she looked like and we started buying clothes for her. We bought a little cupboard for her and made space at home for her.
Every day before going to bed I would visualize myself playing with my niece, holding her and most importantly I would visualize her with perfect health. I changed my screen wallpaper to “cute happy baby” and every day I kept thanking God for perfect health for the baby. I was really grateful that God blessed us with the gift of a child. I was really grateful for having money for her treatment. It was not very easy for us to always be really positive as there were days when her reports were not that good, but no matter what happened, we kept our faith.
Now after one and a half months after her birth, the doctor told us that we can take her to home and she is perfectly fine like other babies.
To all those people who are reading my story, I just want to tell you to have faith and believe, it will happen one day. If you do not have positive moments, create your happy moments no matter how tiny they may be. Remember every single effort will lead you towards your dream.
